How Does Community Solar Work?

SpartanSolar is an affordable way for you to make a long-term commitment to Michigan’s environment by choosing to use renewable energy as a power source.

Instead of putting solar panels on your roof, your panel subscription entitles you to a share of the energy produced by our utility-scale community solar arrays. Your electric co-op continues delivering your energy and you’ll receive solar credits on your utility bill.

There is nothing to install, nothing to maintain, and you can cancel at any time.
